Marco Ollervides has proudly served as a leader at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital since 2015. He studied executive nurse leadership at The University of Texas- El Paso and first began his career at the fast-paced, world renowned Texas Medical Center. As someone who is passionate about diversity, healthcare, and community, the move to Memorial Hermann Northeast was a natural fit. With gracious support from his family, friends, and colleagues, Marco provides for others beyond the hospital setting through organizations such as the United Way of Greater Houston, In the Pink of Health, and the Texas Nurses Association. In his free time, Marco loves to go to the Houston Ballet with his husband, Ethan, and also enjoys cooking for his incredible family and friends—and loves celebrating big! Ever grateful for his amazing support system, Marco makes sure that he always gives generously.
At the Y, we impact thousands of lives every year through the programs we offer in the areas of eliminating drowning, improving academic performance, eliminating chronic disease and childhood obesity and creating opportunities for social equity. We strive to offer to members of our community an environment that fosters personal growth, leadership skills and healthy relationships.
Your support to our cause makes a true impact, allowing us to help those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to participate in Y programs. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and neighbors.
Please consider making a gift today and support our efforts to strengthen our community through the YMCA.
